pc1The workshop is a very practical event which builds on accepted norms for proposal writing, and challenges delegates to reach for the next level of excellence when creating written materials for client consumption.

What we cover:

  • Avoiding the common pitfalls
  • Balancing compelling sales messages with realistic delivery plans
  • Presenting the value proposition: key benefit statements
  • Creating the Executive Summary
  • Using language for maximum impact
  • What are the style choices – and why?
  • Avoiding cliché, repetition and corporatism
  • Delivering technical information effectively
  • Presenting pricing information

Delegates will practice their proposal structure, content and styles using their own pre-prepared examples. Simple, fun exercises will task the delegates to use written language techniques to move beyond tired ‘business clichés’ and marketing-speak to present their messages in more compelling ways.
