FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL TRAINER

Nick Constable Nick has delivered hundreds of learning programmes for a wide range of consulting, technology, software, healthcare and IT services companies over the last 16 years as Principal at Redline Performance Training. He has over 30 years of business experience, having begun his career in 1986 with NCR, in a frontline sales role.

Nick was previously EMEA Sales & Services Director at MapInfo Corp, a $450M global business intelligence software company (acquired by Pitney Bowes), where he also managed a large Professional Services team. Prior to MapInfo, Nick was Sales Director at Eqos Systems, a leading UK software-as-service company specialising in supplier management solutions, acquired by TraceOne.

Nick previously held senior management positions at QAS, now part of Experian, where he was Marketing Director; Sun Microsystems, where he directed the UK software business unit; and Lotus Development, a subsidiary of IBM, where he was Corporate Sales Manager. In addition to these permanent roles, Nick has undertaken interim assignments for Autodesk Inc., the world’s 5th largest software company, as Sales Director for two Northern European business divisions.

During his career, Nick has developed and closed sales pipelines from scratch for start-ups, has recruited, trained and led large sales and professional services teams, managed several acquisitions and implemented organisational restructuring programmes, designed to drive sales performance. During his sales career, he maintained an uninterrupted run of 102 consecutive quarters meeting his sales targets.

Nick has a B.A. Honours degree in Modern Languages from the University of Exeter.
